[06/02/2024] TITLE UPDATE | Switchback VR Version 1.09 Now Available

We are pleased to announce that version 1.09 for Switchback VR is now available on PlayStation VR2, as of 09:00 UTC today, February 6th.

This update reduces crashes in-game and includes amendments to the in-game Privacy Policy. Please find more information on this in the patch notes below.

PATCH DOWNLOAD SIZE

The estimated download size for the patch on PS5 is 3.46 GB.
 
This update should install automatically, but if not, you can manually start the download by highlighting the Switchback VR icon on your PlayStation 5 dashboard, pressing the Options button on your controller, and then selecting “Check for Update” from the list displayed. The download will then start.

Please be aware that there may be some variance in this download size dependent upon the game version you currently have installed.

PATCH NOTES

General

• PRIVACY POLICY: New section added regarding data collection for in-game leaderboards
• DATA COLLECTION: In-game menu title and description updated to be precise
• Reduced the rate of crashes occurring when players are respawning after death

Horde Mode

• Fixed an issue with the localisation of Horde Mode trophies whereby placeholder text was displayed instead of the correct trophy names and unlock conditions.

  Thanks for the continuos support of this game.

  When can we expect to receive any further content or DLC?

  As always also a remake for VR2 of Rush of Blood will be welcome….
