[29/06/2023] A Quick Update About the Upcoming Switchback VR Patch
We are reaching out today with a quick update about the patch for Switchback VR, as we know that many of you are eagerly anticipating its release.
In our last update, we mentioned our aim to release the patch before the end of June. Regrettably this will not be possible, however we only anticipate a short delay.
The patch is now complete but needs time for the necessary testing and submission process to take place. Our aim is for the patch to be released within the next two weeks.
Your continued patience and understanding during this final stage is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Inferno's Ride.

wow this is totally joke.. I am not waiting this stupid update anymore.
it was in the end of June then within 2 weeks and now you don't have more info. looooool I think you guys playing with us or not taking this serious..1 -
Kinda disappointed rn... Come on, be clear. We've waited for so long already and still we get these kind of responses. Can you at least be more clear in your updates. What is the "very soon" you're talking about? One week? One month? Please give us a clear timeframe

I know how getting all the social media posts etc and having to answer them all with "we will update you as soon as we can" is tough and completely appreciate its not your fault you're only reporting what info you have. However saying that I do think the devs need to consider you and give you more information so you can let the fan base know where we all stand. The patch is complete, we are aware from your post 2 weeks ago but we were also told SM were aiming to release in 2 weeks. Of course 2 weeks have now passed and we (well I) appreciate patches do not have set completion times.
At this point this is where the devs should have the courtesy to give you the current status information, for example is it with PlayStation for approval, have the team found more issues? So you can feed that back to us. So we at least know where we stand.

Like everyone here, I'm eagerly awaiting the improvement patch... the current version being so far from the capabilities of the PSVR2. You could at least make us wait with some images, so we have something to sink our teeth into.

Really poor show from supermassive games keeping us all in the dark with only vague time frames on this update.i was one of the fools that bought this blurry mess of a game at launch.i will definitely not be buying anymore supermassive games at launch anymore as its obvious you cannot be trusted to make games that make full use of the available hardware.you are however very good at paying off youtube influencers to hype up games as not one if them mentioned that switchback vr looked like a psvr1 game.
